This tradition has been going for many generations. 

It is the 2nd Sunday in August where Individuals/Families and Friends come to plant or lay flowers on the graves at St. John's Cemetery, Arva and pay their respects and meet and greet others that have lost loved ones or friends.

There is a service of celebration at 3pm for the ones that have gone before us that are interred here at the Cemetery in the Church.

It is also a day we do accept donations to help with the on going operations of the Cemetery.
